Courses

Do course registrations expire?
No, they don’t. When you sign up to a course you can sign in and go through the course material whenever you like with no time limit. In other words, the course is yours forever.

How long do I have to complete a course?
There is no time limit for a course completion. You can go through each course at your own pace.

Am I supported throughout the course?
Yes, you are. For any question you can write to info@phemiology.com. We aim to reply within five working days and, in most cases, we manage to reply within two working days.

The course was purchased by my dog (or my cat). Can I ask for a refund?
Accoding to the European law regulating online courses, to which this Institute abide by, you have 14 days to apply for a refund after you have purchased it.

Online Sessions

Are online sessions effective?
The assumption that, in order to be effective, a session has to be delivered in person is a myth! Consolidated research has shown that online sessions can be as effective as face-to-face ones. Therefore, in the end, is about personal preference, like so many other things in life: if you feel comfortable with a given delivery method of therapy, then it will work well for you! Tommaso Palumbo has been delivering online sessions for the past ten years.

How do I know if and when online sessions are available?
You may contact Tommaso Palumbo on info@phemiology.com or on 07939 141835 and enquiry about his availability.

What video call platform do you use?
Tommaso Palumbo uses Zoom.

Is there a deadline to book an online session, after it’s purchased?
No, there isn’t. After purchasing an online session you may contact Tommaso Palumbo to book it whenever you are ready.

What happen if I can’t make a booked online session? Do I get a refund?
If you ask for your session to be rescheduled at least 48-hours prior to the agreed time, you will be able to reschedule it for another, mutually agreed, time. If you fail to provide a 48-hour notice, then you will not be able to reschedule it, your money will be retained and you will be required to make an additional purchase. Refunds are not issued, under any circumstance.

Telephone Sessions

Are telephone sessions effective?
The assumption that, in order to be effective, a session has to be delivered in person is a myth! Telephone sessions can be as effective as face-to-face ones. Therefore, in the end, is about personal preference, like so many other things in life: if you feel comfortable with a given delivery method of therapy, then it will work well for you! Tommaso Palumbo has been delivering telephone sessions for the past twenty years.

How are telephone calls made or received?
If you are based in the UK, Tommaso Palumbo will call you from his mobile number. If you are based abroad, Tommaso Palumbo may be able to call you from his landline, on condition that you provide a landline number, otherwise you will have to call him, thus incurring the cost of the call.

Advice by E-mail

Who is the advice by e-mail service for?
This service is for those who are not interested in starting a therapeutic journey, which normally requires a few sessions, but have one or more issues they would like to receive advice on. There are also those that are more comfortable expressing themselves in writing.

Is there a deadline to send out a request for advice, after it’s purchased?
No, there isn’t. After purchasing this service, you may send over your request for advice whenever you are ready.

How long does it take for you to reply to my e-mail?
We aim to reply within five working days.
